Pricing, Explained Honestly
How do your quotes work?
A plumber looks the job over first, then talks you through a single number before any tool comes out of the van. The price we quote is the price you pay. No exceptions, so the invoice never carries a surprise line once the job's wrapped up.
Do prices change once the job starts?
The price you sign off on stays put, even if the repair takes longer than expected. If the scope genuinely shifts once we're inside a wall or under a floor, we stop, explain what's changed, and get your go-ahead before touching anything further.
How can I pay?
Standard payment options are all available on the spot, so there's no invoice chasing you down later. The plumber on-site can run you through what suits, and it's sorted before the van pulls out.
Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?
A Tuesday afternoon and a public holiday at midnight get quoted the same way. Timing doesn't change the number, after-hours work carries no loading, and the $0 call-out holds regardless of when you pick up the phone.

Licences, Cover and the Rules
Are you licensed and insured?
Every plumber we send out is licensed and insured, full stop. Gas jobs go specifically to someone holding the right gas licence, which is part of how every callout stays compliant, whether it's a leaking tap or a full gas fitting.
Can I check your plumbing licence?
Our NSW Plumbing Licence is #275278C, and checking it before work starts is welcome, not awkward. Ask about our insurance too; we'll walk you through it so you know who's in your home.
What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?
The Lifetime Labour Warranty means what it says: our labour, guaranteed, from a licensed team that backs its own work.
What should I do if I smell gas while you're on the way?
Get outside and call from there, not from inside the house. Don't flick a switch or light anything, and don't attempt a fix yourself. Only appropriately licensed tradespeople handle gas work, so hang back at a safe distance until we arrive.

How Fast, How Late, How Booked
Are you really open 24/7?
Genuinely, yes. Someone real picks up the phone any hour of any day, weekends and public holidays included. Pipes don't check the calendar before they fail, so our hours don't either.
How fast can you get here?
Getting on-site quickly is the goal every time you call, whatever hour it is. How fast depends on your location and what else is already running that night, but a job we know about doesn't sit waiting.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Anything actively damaging the house, or anything that flat out can't hold: a burst pipe, a drain backing up, no hot water mid-winter, a whiff of gas. Not certain which category yours falls into? Call and we'll sort that out together.
How does the callback form work?
Leave a few details and expect a call back fast, whatever the hour. It suits you if you're mid-task and can't chat right now, though for anything urgent, dialling (02) 9138 6510 straight away still gets you through quickest.

Answers From Around Mascot
How local are you to Mascot, really?
We're on these streets regularly, from the older semis off Botany Road to the crowds walking to a Saturday game at Mascot Oval. It's our regular run, not a suburb we occasionally pass through on the way to somewhere else.
What does heavy rain do to Mascot's plumbing?
Mascot sits on low, filled land close to Botany Bay, so heavy rain and high tides can push the trunk drains to surcharge. That backs up into property stormwater and sewer lines faster than in higher, drier suburbs.
Do you work on Mascot's apartments and strata blocks?
Regularly. The dense apartment stock built up around Mascot Central and the station means shared and individual hot-water systems are common, and we know how strata jobs need to run with minimal disruption to other residents.
Why do Mascot's older homes keep us busy?
The surviving pre-war cottages and semis off Botany Road often still run on their first-generation metal supply pipes, and decades of rust narrow the bore and cut water pressure. That's a big part of why older homes here call us more than newer ones.
